The World Health Organization (WHO) Commission on Social Connection has released its global report on the state of social connectivity and feelings of isolation and loneliness.
“1 in 6 people worldwide is affected by loneliness”.
The Way Forward
Addressing loneliness requires both national strategy and local actions – build public support: libraries, parks, and community events that bring people together.
But it also starts with us, as individuals.
