AHIMA held a Member Exclusive Townhall to provide an update on the organization’s status and respond to member’s questions. The search for a new CEO is in progress; detailed and comprehensive requirements are given. Korn Ferry has been hired to lead the recruitment process.

AHIMA held a Member Exclusive Townhall March 5, 2025 to provide an update on the organization’s status: financial, membership, leadership, plans for 2025. AHIMA’s leadership continues to express a strong desire for transparency and willingness to engage with honesty and integrity. However, “We are working on it” and, “we don’t have a completion data” are too often given for an answer

AHIMA held the first Member Exclusive Townhall with the CEO, Kevin Klauer and President Mona Calhoun along with moderator, Dr Maria Alzondo. Mr. Klauer honestly and frankly addressed the issues facing the organization and its leadership --- engagement with members, value of AHIMA certifications in one’s career and the healthcare industry, changes to the CEU Policy and CAHIIM.

AHIMA held the first Member Townhall to engage with members and learn their concerns and needs. Changes and updates are expected this year.
