AHIMA’s leadership continues to express a strong desire for transparency and willingness to engage with honesty and integrity. However, “We are working on it” and, “we don’t have a completion data” are too often given for an answer

AHIMA held the first Member Townhall to engage with members and learn their concerns and needs. Changes and updates are expected this year.

AHIMA has updated the policy to recertify their credentials and now requires that 40% of CEUs come directly from AHIMA events.
